Is Candid Photography better than posing for the photo?
In my opinion, Candid Photography is one of the only ways to express the mood, characterization, environment and most importantly the people. Though I do all types of photography, being a candid photographer is one of my favorites for a reason. I’m not a huge fan when I have to make it obvious for the people to pose for me. It doesn’t bring out the originality of a person or group, and as well it definitely makes them uncomfortable. Well, at least most of the subjects. There are some awesome people who are very camera-friendly can bring that natural candidness while posing. It’s not a cup of tea for everyone.
The moment my client says, we need candid photography, I lighten up. From that very second, I can’t stop noticing those little moments, energy, and the beauty of the environment and candidness.
